ESCHBACH, Senior Circuit Judge. Shirley Molzof, as personal representative of the estate of Robert Molzof, appeals from that portion of the judgment of the district court denying her an award under the Federal Tort Claims Act (Act) 28 U.S.C. §§ 2671-2680 for her husband's future medical expenses and for his loss of enjoyment of life.1 Because we agree that these damages fall within the scope of the punitive damage exception to the Act's waiver of sovereign immunity, we affirm the district court's denial of this award as non-compensable.
